Job Description
Develops and deploys key strategic initiatives for a mid to large size plant or a company-wide program. Assures programs, systems and procedures for are deployed to reach business goals. Periodically reviews the suitability and effectiveness of the Bioscience Operating System with executive management to ensure alignment.
1. Leads high-level, strategic and cross-functional projects yielding measurable business returns
2. Develops and deploys division wide key organizational business systems/models
3. Interacts with a broad range of site and functional leaders to ensure effective understanding, buy-in, and integration of common business systems across the division
4. Partners with other non-Bioscience resources in strategy and business systems to collaborate and develop best practices.
5. Facilities teams helping them make better decisions and develop robust action plans
6. Organize best practice sharing sessions
7. Supports integration of DMAIC and Lean processes and tools into Baxter and the application of DMAIC to key strategic issues to optimize business performance
8. Provides expert mentoring and assistance to Process Owners, and individual Black Belts in the areas of change management, project management and cross functional alignment strategies
9. Ensures rigor in project execution, phase requirements and timing and provides phase sign-off
10. Manages overall coaching, training, development and succession plans for the team.
Job Requirements
BS in science or engineering; advanced degree helpful. Minimum of 10 years experience in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field in the medical products industry. 7 years management experience.

• Demonstrates potential to take on greater responsibility in the organization or possesses exceptional knowledge in statistical analysis, process design/redesign, or project management
