Responsibilities: We are seeking a District Sales Manager to oversee 10-20 Independent Agents in the Toronto Area. The key areas of responsibility for this role include supporting corporate initiatives, understanding and driving industry vertical segmentation focus as guided by corporate, monitor revenue results and suggest ways in which Agents can increase their revenue generation and build the District strategically with knowledge of all opportunities within the area.
Key Responsibilities: * Achieve District Sales Growth * Transition At-Risk and Orphaned Accounts * Provide Pertinent Information to all Agents * Design & Run District Meetings for all Interested Agents * Build New Business * Conduct Customer Field Visits * Sell to Key Accounts Via Top-Down Methodology * Create District Plans * Suggest Account Level Opportunities to Agents * Forecast District Performance * Build Relationships with Top 10 Customers & Top 10 Prospects in the District Qualifications: * Business Planner with Proven Ability to Run a Profitable District * Strong Ethics * 2-4 Years Sales Background * 3-5 Years Field Sales Management Experience * BA/BS in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications or Equivalent Experience. * Pricing & Market Competitor Knowledge * Above Average Computer Skills * Strategic Account Knowledge * Experience Working with Independent Agents * Exceptional Communication Skills * Interview Procedures * Motivator & Problem Solver We are seeking candidates who possess proven leadership and the ability to manage change. This position does require travel.
