POSITION OVERVIEW :
May supervise employees responsible for the flow and storage of all project documentation (correspondence, contracts, construction documents, engineering, schedules, etc.) between project operations, engineering disciplines, construction team, and other related support groups. Incumbent is typically responsible for a large project. Plans, organizes, and implements systems for efficient document processing of all communications, supplier documents, design documents, construction documents or other internal or external documents. Will have knowledge of both the work processes of document control and also the use of electronic systems used to manage documentation.
Additional Responsibilities include:
• Maintain storage of Project-related records per Project and PTG procedures.
• Assign workflows and obtain approvals of required documents in Primavera (Contract Manager Version.13) and SharePoint workflow feature for the Project.
• SharePoint Project Website Setup and Administration
• On boarding of New Staff;
Qualifications: PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma (or equivalent) and 10-12 years of relevant work experience, including 5-8 years of prior document control experience. Use and Administration of Contract Manager v13 is required. SharePoint Site Deployment and Maintenance a plus.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES :
Must demonstrate good technical skills utilizing the Primavera software
Must demonstrate good knowledge of Document Control practices and procedures
Prior experience with procedure writing a plus
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, is required
Client interaction and service will be required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is necessary
Ability to work within a large team geographically spread out will be necessary
