DRAFTER Contract growth opportunity for a well respected firm in Wilmington, North Carolina. Area candidates. Estimated assignment 6+ months. No travel.
Responsibilities:
-> Under the general direction of senior drafters and engineers, perform electrical & controls drafting, design and technical support including preparing schematics, single lines, cabinet layouts, etc., from sketches, existing equipment, bill of materials
-> Interface with vendors to obtain pricing & delivery information with follow through to material delivery
-> Depending upon expertise, provide E, I&C technical support to tradesmen assembling industrial equipment
Requirements:
-> Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or academic equivalent
-> Minimum 1 to 2 years experience drafting CAD experience documenting electrical & controls in manufacturing, automation or process industries
-> Basic knowledge of PLC control, sensor, motors, actuators and similar equipment
-> Basic knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, 79 and similar standards
