Electrical & Electronics Active Chassis Engineer
The Electrical & Electronics Active Chassis Engineer is responsible for leading the ECU and sensor electrical integration of electrical and electronic chassis d diagnostic, hardware and software development to meet system and vehicle functional vide packaging support by attending all pertinent packaging meetings. Developdiagnostic definitions for electronic control modules. Developflash tool support. Provide validated components for testing on the Plywood Buck and System Bench. Coordinate with vehicle teams and suppliers to ensure proper CAN communication and functionality for various vehicle build phases. Ensure proper electrical and emc testing is conducted on the ECU and sensors. Conduct design reviews for the ECU hardware and software. Provide support to the wiring team by creating and maintaining the information within the Chrysler iSpeed system. Manage electrical DVP&R and FMEA with component supplier. Support manufacturing by developing process standards for in plant testing at vehicle assembly plants. Support service by developing diagnostic analysis and repair. Replace procedures for service manuals.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience preferred, will consider entry level candidates
• Experience or background in automotive electrical systems
• Ability to think outside-the-box in high pressure situations
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented problem-solver
• Experience using CAN tools such as CANalyzer and CANape
• Experience using oscilloscope and/or strip chart recorders
