Electrical Engineer-Manufacturing/Controls/Design
Client has direct hire openings for Electrical Engineers located in their Manufacturing facilities near the Tulsa, OK and Aiken, SC areas. These positions will be responsible for leadership and design, development, optimization and problem solving for product manufacturing. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities:
-> Lead single or multiple product or process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $10 million from conception through commercialization
-> Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of product converting and manufacturing equipment and processes to meet unit objectives
-> Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause
Requirements:
-> Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
-> Approximately 4 +/- years of experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a manufacturing environment
-> Experience with manufacturing control systems, such as Rockwell programming and PLC logic and the ability to apply this to equipment and process improvements
-> Familiarity with machine startups is a plus
-> Experience working with external technical service providers is a plus
-> Solid communication skills at all levels and the ability to provide leadership when applicable
-> Some travel, at times extended, will eventually be required as new processes are adopted at other facilities
