Electro-Mechanical Assembly
We are currently recruiting for SEVERAL assemblers to work for our Leetsdale Location. This position is responsible for electro-mechanical assembly and in process testing/inspection of products
We would consider a recent graduate from a technical institution for this position.
SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Performs the day-to-day assembly of various types of products such as wiring harnesses, cables and electronic alarm and monitoring systems.
• Brings forth creativity in the production processes, that will add marketable value to the Company's products.
• Responsible for the completion and accuracy of associated quality and production documentation.
• May test products during and after the assembly process.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Diploma from a technical institution or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.
• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and production diagrams.
• Must be able to fully understand a Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Sufficient knowledge of electrical schematics, integrated circuits, electronic components and their functions, and mechanical / structural design.
• Must understand metric measurements and have the ability to convert in inches, feet, millimeters, meters, etc.
•• Must have excellent soldering skills for electrical/electronic components.
• Must be able to effectively use equipment such as but not limited to drill press, metal cutting devices, power and non-power hand tools.
• Precise attention to detail including accuracy and integrity of information.
