Our main efforts focus on supporting developers of manned and unmanned vehicles by providing powerful integrated solutions that dramatically reduce the time required to implement an vehicle system.
The CCT Team is composed of a group of highly motivated engineers, specialists and technicians with over 90 years of combined experience in the field. Our facility is located in Hood River, Oregon an hour east of Portland in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. We are excited to announce the opening for a Manufacturing Technician. This person is primarily responsible for the assembly, test and repair of commercial, military, and other customer aerospace components, subassemblies and systems. This includes following prints, procedures, guidelines or following standard practices to ensure product specifications are met. Relies on limited experience and judgment to analyze, plan and execute against assigned goals.
Specific duties and tasks include:
. Assemble, test, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair all assigned products . Repair of in-house defective products and customer RMAs . Provide input to engineering to improve assemblies and documentation for quality and efficiency . Maintain test procedures and assembly documents as assigned. . Expected to keep current on all documents related to assemblies . Support maintenance and improvement to the manufacturing process by suggesting and helping implement new tools, improved production process flow and shop floor, and provide input on creation of new documentation of procedures . Support new product introduction into manufacturing by troubleshooting standard issues, assisting in the development of assembly and test procedures, and completing special handling as directed by Engineering . Execute special custom builds using standard practices and methods . Providing technical leadership, expertise and training to other production personnel
Basic Qualifications: The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
. A minimum of 3 years working in an electronics manufacturing environment, at least 1 of those as an electronics technician, required . Associates of Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education and work experience, required . Knowledge of production, test, troubleshooting and repair processes required for and related to electronics and electro-mechanical products manufacturing. . Must be analytical, observant, focused, and have teamwork and leadership skills. . Must be able to sit for prolonged periods while collecting data, doing data entry, assembling parts, and completing paperwork. . Must be able to lift 25 pounds utilizing proper lifting techniques. . Must have access to reliable transportation . May be required to work in confined spaces and may need to share work space with others.
