The Technical Cost Reduction (TCR) Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects related to TCR ideas from creation through implementation, primarily for supplier generated ideas. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, leading supplieridea generation events and supporting Chrysler led TCR idea generation, participating in and providing support for supplier TCR performance reviews, evaluating TCR ideas for technical feasibility and business case. TheTCRworks closely with engineering and other functional departments to validate TCR ideas for implementation, maintaining TCR ideas within database to allow for accurate reporting, managing SUPER program for supplier generated ideas and providing purchasing activity support to engineering for TCR ideas.
