Extrusion Helper and Wrapper Packers

Staffmark has immediate openings on 2nd and 3rd shifts for Extrusion Helpers, Slitters and Wrapper Packers in a manufacturing environment.

2nd shift: 2p-10pm, M-F

3rd shift: 10p-6am, M-F

Must train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks

Extrusion Helper assists in the Extrusion Department in the production of

polyethylene films.

Assist operators in making roll changes, screen changes, die changes, setting

up equipment per customer specifications via job jackets.

Cuts cores

Removes rolls of film from the winder equipment and then loads shafts with empty cores

Weighs rolls, palletizes them and records weights on job jacket

Applies roll tags and pallet tags

Watches over Gaylord's full of resin

Greases dies

Follow AIB guidelines

Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows

prescribed safety instructions

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

-Minimum 1 year experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment

-Safety conscious and high focus on quality

Candidate must submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
