Field Service Engineer-Reciprocating/Compressor/Rotating Equipment
Global supplier of rotating equipment is actively searching for a Reciprocating Field Service Engineer to work out of their Houston, TX area operation.
Responsibilities:
-> Responsible for execution of field engineering activities, including compressor performance testing, vibration analysis, rotodynamic analysis, root cause analysis, reliability-centered maintenance studies, reciprocating compressor analysis and control system, instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting -> Prepare proposals for Engineering activities -> Prepare and deliver project documentation and progress reports for internal and external clients -> Act as technical liaison between company and client -> Make recommendations, based on audits and analysis, to technical personnel for repair and maintenance of equipment -> Support field personnel in execution of activity described in recommendations
Requirements:
-> 2+ years of experience working with rotating or reciprocating equipment -> Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineering preferred) -> Experience in the execution of engineering activities, including compressor performance testing, vibration analysis, rotodynamic analysis, root cause analysis, reliability-centered maintenance studies, reciprocating compressor analysis and control system, instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting -> The willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time in order to fulfill the responsibilities of this position
