Description
We currently have the following opening at our APA division, which designs and manufactures dispensing systems:
In this position, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining custom high speed dispensing equipment at meat packaging firms around the country while optimizing costs, performance and customer satisfaction. Specific responsibilities include establishing relationships with customers across the country, gathering feedback on machine performance and working with engineering to improve the product, providing customer support including establishing service agreements and providing field service. This position requires 80% domestic travel.
To qualify, you must have an associates degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology. A minimum of two to four years of experience installing, troubleshooting, and/or servicing equipment in a field service role is required. Experience with PLCs is required; experience with Allen Bradley software preferred. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD software is desirable. Successful candidates will be independent, organized, results driven with strong customer orientation and team skills.
