Final Test Technician - Temporary position Ref#20097219 Location: Somerset, NJ
Duties and Responsibilities: * Troubleshoot MOCVD testing activity discrepancies * Work with Engineering and R&D groups as required to resolve diverse & complex issues found during Test. * Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly Test Technicians to resolve and close issues. * Manage all manufacturing test data associated with Acceptance testing (ETL & ATL). * Interface with customers during Customer Source Inspection * Compile statistical reports for each MOCVD system during Final Test. * Analyze discrepancy data for each MOCVD system in order to provide corrective action and target zero CSI findings. * Identify and provide improvements of test methods for existing products and collaborate with Engineering to develop methodologies for new products/components.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Knowledge of MOCVD (hardware, software & control systems – Analog / D-Net) * Knowledge of semiconductor hardware/practices and UHV manufacturing. * Knowledge of SAP that range from simple inquiries to complex reports and transactions (MM, PP modules). * Skilled in the use of a personal computer and various common software packages. * Able to perform statistical data analysis. * Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision. * Ability to identify and resolve recurring problems. * Possess interpersonal skills to interface with assembly technicians, engineering, management, customers, sales & marketing.
Credentials and Experience: * BS in Engineering or Technical field preferred with a at least five years hands on experience in testing and trouble shooting complex systems.
Special Requirements: * Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required to meet company revenue requirements and established Turbodisc Manufacturing build plan.
