Job Description:
Summary: (Third shift = Monday - Thursday, 9:00 pm to 7:30 am, 40 hours)Tests modules, and performs tool start-up and final tests of integrated systems. Performs in-house customer acceptance tests. Works with Install personnel, Quality and Test Engineering to enhance smartship tests. No travel required. Duties: Perform operational and functional tests, calibrations and verification of sub-assemblies and/or systems of all product types (implanters) with minimal supervision. Tests and troubleshoots system level and component level problems in electrical, electronic and mechanical systems. Performs work utilizing routine documentation, schematics, diagrams, references, notes, prints, and layouts. Interfaces with Engineering in solving design and functionality issues. Qualifications: AA/AS in Electro-Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and 2-3 years applicable experience. Microprocessor systems, digital & analog electronics, mechanical aptitude & Vacuum experience. Wafer handling experience a plus.
