Financial Analyst
Location

Assist with analyses and compliance of financial reporting data and accounting department
projects. Meets customer needs to the best of the incumbent s ability, in line with SIEGWERK
philosophy that the customer is the #1 priority. Adheres to all departmental/company policies and
standards to include (but not limited to): (1) maintains a neat, clean and safe work area; (2)
maintains regular and consistent attendance; and (3) maintains positive working relationships.
Job Responsibilities
Assists with the preparation of financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
Assists with the preparation of the company wide budget.
Prepares analyses as directed for reporting on areas such as budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
projections.
Works with other company personnel on special projects as assigned.
Assists with preparing cost control reports and analysis.
Reconciles various Balance sheet accounts to the general ledger.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of
education and experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as applicable and
ability to apply accounting principles, practices and techniques.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to
write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small
group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions,
percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
geometry.
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Effective analytical and
problem solving skills required.
Microsoft Word/Excel required. Ability to maintain, create, and understand complex spreadsheets
and database applications.
