Financial Analyst - Shortage Control
Overview:
Analyst is responsible for producing and analyzing Inventory related reports, developing and maintaining annual financial plans and taking ownership of monthly closing responsibilities. Reports directly to the VP of Shortage Control.
Key Accountabilities:
Produce shortage analysis reports during annual Inventory cycles.
Create and analyze variance reports.
Track and forecast expense for monthly closing.
Manage seasonal and annual plans for all department accounts.
Compile various financial results for Store Shortage presentations.
Complete extensive ad-hoc analytical projects as needed.
Skills Summary:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to communicate with supervisor, central business partners, and stores' teams.
Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with expected accuracy.
Must be able to work independently as well as interact with department and functional area contacts.
