Financial Data Conversion Analyst
Duties and responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to the following: * Ensure compliance with established data conversion templates and the Global Model Solution* Identify and document data integrity gaps* Create and maintain pre and post conversion checklist/steps* Support the execution of multiple mock conversions* Provide timely status reports and metrics* Create and maintain issues log* Create ad hoc queries to support data reconciliation* Work with the Agency and DFAS personnel to resolve conversion related technical and functional issues and prepare associated correction packages* Conduct end-to-end testing using converted data* Develop and execute systematic approaches for rapid data reconciliation to support system migration* Support data cleansing and data conversion efforts, requiring expertise in accounting; data reconciliation; MS Access and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming; DAI implementation and associated data templates; and Oracle FinancialsThe skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Demonstrate strong analytical and presentation skills* Demonstrate ability to make informed decisions, manage workload, and meet deadlines independently* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills* Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and trust* Ability to analyze and problem solve* Commitment and adherence to KGS' Credo and Firm's Core Values* At least 6 years of experience in performing business and/or financial management tasks for commercial or government organizations* Demonstrated experience planning, organizing, executing, controlling, and performing project work efforts to meet contract requirements* BA/BS degree (an additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for a BA/BS degree)* Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Access, Project, and PowerPoint), and Visio in order to prepare all documents, listings, tables, briefings, and worksheets
