Follow Up Analyst Container Management
The Follow-Up Analyst-Container Management position is responsible for analyzing potential container shortages to plants and extensions to determine the appropriate course of action to ensure zero assembly line build disruptions. Monitor, track and trace all inbound shipments, analyze and correct inventory record variances and work closely with the Material Control Operations group to ensure supplier compliance to part requirements. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, contacting supply base to ensure part/container deliveries, creating shipping documents and working with carriers, working with logistics, and analyzing part/container records.
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Packaging
• Previous material/inventory control experience in a manufacturing facility
• Basic knowledge of material control systems
• Superior organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Sound technical and computer skills
• Self-motivated with excellent organization skills and ability to multitask
• Available to work first shift
