They are also accountable for communicating key changes and exceptions to the sales, marketing and operations group. The Forecast Analyst will need to develop relationships with their respective key accounts and foster collaborative working processes in order to build the forecasts. The Analyst will be required to report their forecast accuracy on a monthly basis and take corrective action where needed. · Develop Monthly Forecast o Accountable for developing monthly sales forecasts with relevant sales account managers and customers. o Monitor Supply, Order, shipment and POS information throughout the supply chain and use as inputs to build the forecasts. o Work with Product and Sales teams to build new product, promotional and transitional forecasts. o Prepare and lead monthly forecast reviews for assigned customers. o Assist with preparation and analysis for monthly S&OP meetings. o Provide input to closeout initiatives and execution. · Communicate Forecast Changes o Provide detailed analysis of forecast changes and communicate to relevant teams / Update Oracle with forecast data. o Key contact with sales for all demand planning and sales forecasting communication · Report Metrics o Develop and publish key forecast accuracy metrics for respective customers along with recommendations for improvement o Analyze prior forecast to identify potential sources of forecast error and make appropriate adjustments. · Continuously improve process o Provide analysis and technical support for sales forecasting initiatives. o Foster cross-functional discussion to improve process and/or inputs that could impact forecast · Performs other related duties as required and assigned Job Requirements : * Bachelor's degree in business or related or commesurate work experience required * 2+ yrs related work experience required * Excellent Microsoft Excel skills essential Strong analytical background needed * Solid presentation skills * Need to be comfortable and confident in a customer facing environment * Requires flexible work schedule in order to meet the global team needs. The ability to participate in evening conference calls and provide urgent design support during non-work hours is a must. * Ability to travel nationally and internationally required.
