Description
We are currently hiringGENERAL LABORERS. Georgia Pacific offers excellent benefits and competitive wages. The starting rate of pay is $11.98 per hour.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: · Adhere to all safety and health rules, plant rules, policies, procedures and guidelines, including lock out/tag out/try procedures. · Adhere to all plant environmental guidelines, policies and procedures. · Assist crew members as needed. · Help meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals. · Keep work area cleaned throughout shift. · Perform thorough weekend clean ups and any other assigned cleanup duties. Basic Qualifications: To be considered for employment, you must meet the following basic qualifications of the General Laborer position:
Possess at least 2 years of fast paced manufacturing experience Eligible to work in theUnited Statesfor any employer Possess a high school diploma or GED Willing to work in a tobacco free environment Willing to work shift work Willing to work overtime Willing to work weekends Willing to work holidays Willing to take a drug test and remain drug free Willing to wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment Willing to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time Willing to work in a hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environment Successfully complete a background investigation
