Salary-$25.00 per hour
Position: Electronics Technician
Georgia-Pacific Wood Products LLC is seeking an Electronics Technician in ourSterlingSawmill.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, calibrate and test malfunctioning pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and mechanical components on high speed machinery systems and process control systems. Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses. Test components and technical publications. Communicate and address process and equipment problems in a timely manner. Promote safe and compliant work culture.
Basic Qualifications
* Familiarity with using RS Logix, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000 and RS Linx Software
* Ability to analyze and repair components using conventional and digital multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and hand tools.
* Have working knowledge of electrical theory and its applications and 3 phase (480 volts)
* Familiarity withPLCsystems and HMI’s with emphasis on Allen Bradley systems (ladder logic), DH+, Device Net and Control Net networking
* Willingness to expand skills and abilities through job training, work assignments, seminars and other training activities.
