Graphic Designer
Art Direction and Design across the entire spectrum of branding and visual communication projects for our company's Golf Footwear and Apparel Brands.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
Supervises and works together with other Graphic Designers in efficient implementation and creative execution of their assignments to successfully maintain timelines and brand creative integrity. Works within strategic, deadline and budget considerations to deliver appropriate and effective creative solutions derived from documented creative working briefs. Promotes efficient and harmonious working relationships within the Company and vendor partners.
Creative Focus:
2D - Art Direction and Design of brand / identity assignments, point-of-sale graphics, promotional signage,packaging, catalogs, web banners, email blastsand collateral; concept and design of new logo / tech icon development. Conceptualization, art direction and post-production finishing of athlete / equipment photography (location shoot, digital studio and high-end studio settings). Proofing print output files and digital enhancement; proofing of brand images. Attending all relevant press-checks for printed materials. Ability to consult on branding and imaging in POS and other environments (i.e. SIS, tradeshows, etc). Works to maintain diligent adherence to Corporate Identity guidelines. Works effectively with outside agencies to maintain cohesive brand and design standards.

Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:
5+ Years Experience: Graphic Design / Art Direction / Photography Direction / Pre-Press and Print Production; accomplished Global Corporate Branding experience; portfolio of work to manifest a high-level of creative versatility, competitive mindset and project management skills, and excellent long-term potential for career growth within the Company.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Design software exprience: advanced skills and experience with adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. PDF creation with adobe Acrobat.
Experience with Dreamweaver a plus
Experienced in color management (photographic imaging and apparel color matching), pre-press, imaging science and print industry technology (conventional and digital); substrate selection for optimization of quality and budget for print materials; embossing and die-cutting technology. Highly effective organizational skills relative to file management.
Effective communicator with internal clients (i.e. Product Creation, Product Marketing, Global Regions, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Sports Marketing), external clients, vendors, direct reports, Global Creative Project Coordinators and Global Design Management. Ability to learn, grow and thrive in a unique, fast-paced, multi-tasking global working environment. Good leadership potential to help support team cohesion and group work / creative dynamics. Seeks to compete strategically at a global leadership level. Efficient, strong organizational skills, superior attention to detail, able to schedule workback timelines and meet deadlines without fail.
