Duties Consults with Production Coordinator to analyze, develop, and execute various print and web site design requirements using current professional publication and Web site design software in both MAC and PC operating environments. Major responsibilities include design and development of brochures, reports, manuals, posters, exhibits, banners, presentations, and other types of publications from concept to press-ready and web-based files. Secondary responsibilities include Web site design and basic HTML development. Software applications used are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to modify and create graphics; Adobe InDesign for layout design of print material; Adobe Acrobat for electronic distribution and Government 508 compliancy and accessibility; Microsoft Word for report text layouts; Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations, and Adobe Dreamweaver for Web site design and development. Research and recommend software, hardware and/or peripherals as needed. Participate in daily activities of the office through meetings and other assignments as assigned. Required Skills
Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years experience. Must have experience with Adobe Creative Suite 3 or higher, Microsoft Office 2007, OSX and Windows Platforms. Some Dreamweaver and HTML knowledge is desired. Ability to produce high-quality designs under tight deadlines, including same-day turn-around on occasion. Required Experience
