Group Leader for Int'l Manufacturer – Promotion Opportunity
Group Leader for International Manufacturer Promotion Opportunity
Our client is a financially strong international manufacturing company that is well established, and still growing! Our US headquarters are located just one hour west of Chicago, IL. We are searching for a hands-on Group Leader who has vision for the future and will work towards career growth within the company. In this role you will oversee department activities that work toward company goals such as high product quality and high safety standards. Note: This is an off-shift position, so candidates must be able to work either 2nd or 3rd shift.
Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:
At least 4 years of directly related experience in a manufacturing environment required, supervisory experience is ideal
Experience meeting production targets on a consistent basis in a manufacturing setting
Combination of entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy to potentially be promoted within the company
Strong team player who can demonstrate leadership abilities and communication skills
Union experience highly desired
Knowledge of QS and ISO requirements
Ability to travel occasionally for business
