Industrial Manager/ Operations Lead - 787

Operation manager position based in Rockford responsible for achieving the Program Office schedule and SOW requirement related to development, qualification, flight test, and production hardware demand requirements. Must be able to create and layout a timeline to cooperatively set expectations with disciplines for key deliverables such as product requirements, print creation, BOM creation, sourcing, loading JDE, purchase order placement, product manufacture
Responsibilities included:
- Hardware planning and delivery execution
- Establishing Lines of Balance
- Management of Bills of Material and reconciliation of Product structures
- Completion of Standard Work
- Supervision of contracted support staff
Leadership, foresight, and initiative are essential qualities for this position. Ability to plan and host routing and spot meetings to accomplish program hardware goals with cross functional disciplines. Must be able to successfully interact with plant sites, management, customer, planning, engineering, and operations. Participate and present in Program Management Reviews
Strong communication and inter-personal skills are mandatory to insure quality and delivery plans, corrective action plans, and HS strategic initiatives are clearly delivered and understood by the Customer.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple products, plant sites, and PMO'
5-10% travel is required.
Applicants are expected to work in a team environment with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Contracts to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Industrial manager reports to Operations Platform and dotted line to applicable PMO

Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in operations, engineering, and/or materials planning.
Manufacturing experience with HS products, operations development planning and plant sites are critical
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Project, and Word
Working experience with JDE/ 1 World is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in working with a Customer, solid teaming abilities, a working knowledge of Supplier Quality and Supply Management, and an understanding of the relationships between the various functional organizations (operations, engineering, quality and contracts) to enable them to meet customer requirements
