JOB TITLE DEPARTMENT REPORTS TO Injection Molding Process Technician Injection Molding Injection Molding Manager EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Must have Associate’s Degree (Prefer Bachelor’s Degree) with minimum 5 years Injection Molding Machine, with 2500 ton plus clamping force, experience KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 01. Process and setup sustainable decoupled Injection Molding processes that produce quality parts. 02. Proficient in correcting Injection Molding process flaws. 03. Assist Supervisor with correcting quality issues. 04. Assist Supervisor with Producing and providing Work Instructions. 05. Document and track processing parameters on a daily basis. 06. Start & Restart IMM and diagnose/correct IMM down time issues. 07. Diagnose and notify Manager, maintenance and/or tooling personnel of any non-standard or sub- performance operational IMM or mold issues. 08. Notify Manager of IMM operational, safety and quality issues. 09. Review and submit accurate/consolidated Resin and Regrind Inventories, daily. 10. Assist Supervisor in Reviewing and submitting accurate/consolidated Production data sheets, daily. 11. Ensure training and cross training of all Team Members on IMM related matters. 12. In general, notify Manager of any nonstandard issues for the department, assigned IMM’s, and assigned Team members. 13. 3R and 5S should be included. 14. All other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS · Advanced Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Word. · Working Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Power point and Adobe. · Engel IMM experience. · Decoupled Molding experience. · HPM IMM experience. · Fanuc 6-Axis Robot experience · Star 3-axis Robot experience
