Overview: INX International Ink Co. is the third largest ink company in North America and specializes in inks and coatings for the commercial printing, food packaging, metal decorating, and other fields. We take pride in developing and manufacturing the highest quality inks available to our customers worldwide. We are currently seeking a qualified Ink Inplant Production worker for our client site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Previous experience within the Ink Industry is preferred.
Essential functions of the job are: Manufacture high-quality printing ink at customer site. Responsible for mill, batchweighing, and/or mixer duties.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: Weigh batches, following directions on the batch ticket. Mix batches of ink and makes additions as directed. Run batches of ink on mill and places finished product in proper containers. May perform QC inks and/or raw materials. Keep shelves and work area in order. Perform daily clean up of mixers, knives, and floor, taking extreme care not to splash ink or solvents at any time.
Qualifications (Skills - Education - Experience): Qualifications include: High school diploma or general educational degree (GED) desired; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or combination of equivalent education and experience. Previous lab, inplant, warehouse, and customer service skills are helpful. General math and communication skills and basic computer skills.
