The position may also work in other departments as necessary to meet business uired Skills Nature and Scope eral Responsible for inspecting in-process and final product, developing quality documentation, auditing manufacturing and quality system processes, performing laboratory procedures, and preparing reports. The individual must be able to carry out certain duties and responsibilities of production associates in other departments as assigned by management. 2. Quality Systems Responsible for supporting ISO-9000 quality systems and objectives necessary to meet all MABS corporate, government and customer requirements. 3. Receiving Inspection
Responsible for receiving inspection of incoming product, inspection documentation, control of suspect product, assist with returns and corrective action for defective product received from vendors. 4. Customer and Product Support Responsible for documenting problems, assisting in root cause analysis and developing/implementing corrective action. Will also be required to support internal quality audits. 5. Manufacturing Quality Support Support first article development, quality related calibration functions and material acceptance test / inspection activities necessary to deliver product. Additionally, incidental work such as paint touch-up, application of data plate etc. to manufactured product is in the scope of this classification. Manufacturing process and data collection systems support (CAPPS ), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) analysis/report generation and activities necessary to obtain business certifications required for deliveries are also responsibilities of the position. 6. Shipping Inspection Responsible for inspection oversight of the shipping process as required. These activities may include customer delegated inspection of shipments as well as inspections delegated by Regulatory uired Experience Training and/or Experience A minimum of two (2) years experience in the quality field with responsibilities assessing product quality and supporting quality system functions in a manufacturing environment is required. The individual must be able to read and interpret blueprints, have a general knowledge of ASME Y14.5M, have working knowledge of GD&T and must possess the necessary mathematic skills associated with quality related functions. They must be proficient in using standard measuring equipment and have strong computer skills, including utilization of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Good technical writing and basic statistical analysis skills are also required. ASQ CQI and/or CQT certifications, CCMM experience, and ISO-9000 familiarity are a plus.
