Experience and knowledge rotating & reciprocating equipment including Steam Turbines, Centrifugal Compressors & Reciprocating Compressors.Disassemble, inspect assemble all equipment and sub-assemblies. Follow Standard Work Procedures and Policies provide complete inspection package and utilizing calibrated measuring tools. Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
* Level 2 Inspector to complete Dye penatrand and Magnetic particle inspections. * Position include but are not limited to; 3 to 5+ years * Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. * Ability to add and subtract all units of measure including time, volume, weight and distance. * Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. * Ability to use measuring instruments and simple hand tools * Ability to routinely lift at least 25 pounds, as required to perform essential functions of the position, for up to eight hours with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically, as required to perform essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* An expert in operation of parts and how to adjust and obtain proper clearances and functioning. * Must have good written & verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare factual job reports and/or sketches of work performed * Ability to be attentive to tasks at hand and move to the next task. * Ability to read & interpret general assembly blueprints and work to general tolerances Dresser-Rand is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
