Immediate need for a Level III Ultrasonic Inspector for a direct hire opportunity in the Boston area. The salary will be based on candidate?s experience and knowledge. Client prefers local candidates but will negotiate a relocation package to get the best possible candidate for the position.
Responsibilities:
-> To perform Non Destructive Testing (NDT) on aerospace equipment for clients and company
-> Will perform NDT on axial flow components used in the aerospace and power generation industries
-> To collect raw data, compile information, and produce technical reports for management and customers
-> Will work with other technicians, managers, and engineers to complete assigned duties
-> To perform customer and internal audits as needed to ensure inspected products meet set guidelines
-> To work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines and to complete duties as assigned
Requirements:
-> Level III certification in Ultrasonic and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection required
-> Equivalent 4 years of college or training in a technical discipline
-> Previous experience and knowledge of aerospace industry, NAS410, GE, Pratt, Boeing standards, and training UT and FPI technicians are highly desirable qualifications
-> Must be detailed oriented and have good math skills
-> Must be able to read and determine prints and drawing information
