Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
An Inspector will inspect, audit and report on materials, processes, products and finished goods to ensure conformance with customer specifications and the company’s quality standards, using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques. Inspectors will also be expected to follow our company General Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
*
Perform inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading process.
*
Utilize proper measuring instruments to ensure product meet customer specifications.
*
Inspect packaged products and pallets to ensure finished products are stacked and bagged neatly and in accordance with customer requirements.
*
Communicates quality issues with shift.
*
Complete documentation of production tickets and load sheets.
*
Operate baggers, tape machine, glue machine, and grinders, if needed.
*
Prepare documentation of production tickets and load sheets and certificates of compliance or analysis.
*
Assist with housekeeping duties, grinding bottles, and replenishing packing supplies.
* Other duties as assigned by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
