Integrated Scheduling Specialist 4\5
Works independently and leads/directs others in all phases of assigned cross-organizational and business unit program/project Program/Project Planning & Control, Integrated Scheduling / Baseline Mgmt demonstrating proficiency in the principles and processes in all areas in accordance with Boeing and industry standards. Identifies key stakeholder program/project objectives and requirements. Works independently and leads the development of program and/or project level schedules. Maintains schedule baselines for the life of the program/project, integrating requirements for all functions to accomplish the full scope of the requirements/deliverables. Supports the development of products and services associated with integration management, communications management and scope management. Ensures program/project teams including Integrated Scheduling / Baseline Mgmt individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan and program/project and business unit requirements. Independently prepares, develops and coordinates complex integrated plans and schedules to meet all business offers (e.g., acquisitions, proposals) and program/project execution objectives. Oversees development of program/project proposal plans and schedules, establishment of program/project baseline schedules upon contract award/authority to proceed for all Boeing and supplier/subcontractor scope of work, and all proposed revisions to the schedule baseline. Chair the Baseline/Change Control Board with responsibility for daily operation of the board including publishing the meeting schedule, preparing and releasing each Baseline/Change Commitment Record and reporting progress to Program/Project Management. Responsible for the baseline commitments for planning and implementation of the design, development, procurement, manufacture and testing of the basic configuration of each deliverable configuration item, Program End Items, authorized non-deliverable items and the total system. Responsible for baseline change commitments/baseline config control for planning and implementation of all Contract Change Proposals/Engineering Change Proposals. Leads, directs, facilitates and executes the process and strategy for integration of program/project plans and schedules, horizontally/vertically, across company functional and product groups, suppliers and partners. Leads, directs, facilitates, and improves methods and approaches for schedule-related risk and opportunity analyses, including schedule risk assessments (i.e., Monte Carlo Analyses) and risk mitigation plans, identification/resolution of critical path and network logic conflicts. Provides in-depth analysis of program/project change management activities such as gap analysis, lessons learned, process improvements and enhancements for incorporation into future program/project plans and schedules. Leads, directs and facilitates the use of accepted integrated scheduling techniques to perform assessment and report status of change management process performance and change volume status/trends to appropriate management. Leads timely schedule impact analyses, integration, coordination, and commitment of complex and multiple schedule baseline changes, replans, work-around plans, recovery plans. Coordinates with management to develop corrective action plans for schedule performance variances and related cost performance variances. Consults with senior management and executive leadership and to integrate organizational strategies, company initiatives, and program/project objectives into overall Program/Project Planning & Control, Integrated Scheduling / Baseline Mgmt process and products. Prepares recommendations for best practice, process, operating rhythm, and tool improvements and leads the documentation, communication, and implementation of approved recommendations.
