" Must possess experience with FISMA policy and have participated in a minimum of 5 Major Application C&A's. " Experience with financial management system C&A preferred." Must have a clear understanding and practical knowledge of security architecture, security policies and best practices, and security capabilities of leading operating systems/platforms." Able to take the lead developing and reviewing System Security Plans, Security Categorizations, Business Impact Analysis, Contingency Plans, Security Assessment Reports, Security Test and Evaluation Plans and execution, Privacy Impact Assessments, Configuration Management Plans, and POA&M activities). " Able to take the lead with other responsibilities including risk assessment, documentation, policy compliance, and CM review, as well as user training." Must be familiar with FISMA and the relevant guidance issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) (i.e. SP 800-37, SP 800-26, SP 800-53, SP 800-53A, and SP 800-34) as well as Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) Publications." Ability to work effectively in a team management environment and participate in collaborative initiatives which foster the mutual exchange of knowledge and expertise. The C&A consultant will be in support of a Federal Financial Management system that is made up of a number of legacy mainframe applications. The applications have existing C&A documentation prepared so the focus will be on updating at 3 year planned intervals as well as assessing system changes. Subsidiary applications also exist in UNIX environment and are included in the C&A system boundary.
