LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
A fast growing chemical manufacturing plant in Conshohocken, PA is seeking a Lab Technician to work in its quality control laboratory. Individual must be a self starter, able to work with minimum direction and possess the ability to lead and direct others. Candidates must possess a good working knowledge of chemical plant operations.
Requirements:
• Will perform analysis of production and product samples using mainly titrations and gas chromatography • Candidate should have degree in chemistry or related field or extensive experience in laboratory work • Candidate should have at least five years experience in a chemical process environment • Must be familiar data collection and with Excel and Word software • Must be a self starter and able to work independently in an industrial setting • Candidate will be expected to work predominately evening and night shifts during production campaigns that may extend for ten to twelve consecutive days • Candidate is expected to work in a safe manner following all safety and environmental procedures • Candidate will be required to routinely test final product quality and report results • Candidate expected to make a commitment of at least six to nine months
