External Job Title Lead Analyst, Materials Systems Asia Pacific Function Supply Chain Employee category Regular AutoReqId 35149BR Experience Level 3-5 years Travel Required Up to 25 percent Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Materials Systems Analyst is part of a team that is responsible to develop, launch, and audit materials processes in APAC. Projects that the team will manage will fall into the following areas: Replenishment system development and maintenance, SIOP, inventory plan development and management, inventory accuracy program development and management, shopfloor materials processes, packaging design and launch, Logistics and trade management, and ERP launch support. The team will also support the launch of new products and processes, ensuring that standard processes are employed. This work will be performed in support of all APAC facilities and will be guided by the standard Materials Playbook. Goals and direction will be provided through the APAC Corporate Materials Council.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Develop, maintain, and launch standardized tools and processes that support the APAC Materials Strategy. Actively manage multiple projects that will include system/process/tool development, program launches, best practice import/export, etc.
B. Create, maintain, and deploy the APAC Materials Playbook. The playbook will document processes, tools, and resources for all elements of the APAC Materials Strategy.
C. Actively participate in the launch and management of the APAC Materials Council. Complete projects in support of the APAC Materials Strategy at sites throughout the region. Participating in all telecons and on site team meetings.
D. Develop and maintain robust, system driven processes and tools for direct material replenishment, from both internal and external suppliers
E. Perform benchmarking and industry research to import best in class systems, tools, and processes
F. Coordinate with the Corporate Materials Systems and Logistics teams, as well as the Materials Leads for each business, to drive success on APAC Materials Team initiatives and goals.
G. Actively communication with key customers; Plants, SCM, Logistics, SIOP, etc. This is critical to understand the expectations and perceptions of the team's customers to ensure that their needs are met.
H. Perform data analysis to support projects and critical metric improvement initiatives
