Lead Buyer - Stampings
The Lead Buyer- Stampings is responsible for managing all commercial contract terms and developing sourcing strategies. They will have functional responsibility for identifying potential sources, managing quotations, negotiating and awarding long term contracts. Additionally, this position will be required manage all aspects of the supplier relationship, including contract maintenance, achievement of annual cost savings targets, and the development of supplier/commodity strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance or Engineering from an accredited university • Minimum ofthree (3)to five (5) yearsbuying experience in an automotive or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Buying experience in metallic components including stampings and castings • Master's degree or MBA • CPM certification • International business experience • Experience with a large level of spend responsibility • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills • Ability to work at a fast pace
