Essential Responsibilities
Contract Familiarisation


* Obtain copies of the client contract from the project. Review related exhibits and make clarifications or provide information to the project for inclusion in clarifications.

* Develop Project Procurement Plan aligning with COE business processes and procedures. Normally required to provide initial submission to the client 30 days after contract award.

* If logistics plan falls under responsibility of Sourcing Co-ordinator for a project, alignment and inputs required from COE logistics

* Assessment of subcontractor mobilization requirements and flow down to Subcontracts and purchase orders.

* Include client co-ordination requirements; Project Procurement Plan education across COEs Ensure COE's are familiar with the procurement plan and project specific requirements are flowed down into Purchase Order information Project AVL Management Responsible for creating and managing project AVL.

* Local Content; Assess local content requirements and mechanisms for Purchase Order placements COE Co-ordination Meeting Rhythms Frequency and format defined by Sourcing Co-ordinator, between Site Sourcing Leaders, and Project Managers

* Sourcing Flow Down Document to be added to the BOM of relevant SQR'd parts document to provide an explanation of project specific details to the supplier including e.g. SDL, ITP, MPP, Material Source of Origin, mobilization,

* Project HSE Documentation; Impose the use of EPiC for supplier document management for all COE's.



Reporting


* Format agreement with Document Control.

* Ownership

* Sourcing have ownership of expediting documents with suppliers.

* Agreement on ownership within project of expediting documents internally.

* PPM Co-ordination Ownership with PQE for PPM arrangements with sourcing assisting as required. Not mandatory for buyers to attend dependant on criticality however must be given copy of minutes and actions.



* Vendor Workshops; Sourcing Co-ordinator to confirm arrangements with suppliers for attendance at Project Awareness workshops. Workshops to be lead by Project representative, Sourcing Co-ordinator to present sourcing topics only.

* Sourcing Co-ordinator to assess suitable suppliers to attend the work -criticality rating dependant"

* Procurement tracker and alignment with Project Schedule need dates "Tracking of Procurement status on criticality 1 & 2 items or schedule critical items.

* Scheduled reviews with EPC Planner to ensure alignment.

* Project Risk Register; Provide information into the Project Risk Register

* Project records; Agreed project records maintained within project portal or SharePoint Cross functional interface

* Where required to resolve critical issues, co-ordinate information between relevant functions and set up recovery meetings where required; Expeditors, Buyers, Logistics, Supplier Quality, Project Quality, Engineering

* Client Reports- Prepare input for client reports - weekly/monthly

* Client Meetings- Attend client meeting where required and present sourcing status updates

* Client Audits- Assist with Client audits & preparation with COE teams

* Internal Leadership PSR; Prepare input for monthly PSR meeting with Subsea leadership team

* Project Metrics- Monthly Sourcing Metrics

* Project EHS Liaise with Project EHS Manager to establish which key suppliers require evaluation and potential site visit

Qualifications/Requirements

* Proven level Industry experience and or relevant degree/diploma.

Desired Characteristics

* Excellent Communication & Organisational skills.


* Ability to work within complex functional & P&L structures, across multinational sites.


* A willingness to work 80% UK 20% Norway as project dictates.
