Logistics AnalystThe Logistics Analyst role offers the opportunity to be responsible for system evaluation, auditing & trending, risk assessment, continuous improvement projects and driving process improvements. In addition, the Logistics Analyst will also: • Direct and coordinate projects to improve cost, quality and service. • Analyze customer requirements, design changes and other data to develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage to evaluation stage. • Audit, trend and analyze 3PL systems, procedures and daily activities. • Communicate and present ideas, projects, metrics to the appropriate people in the organization. • Train and be the bridge between Stryker and 3PL provider. • Continuously developing expertise in all related quality and regulatory areas of the business (DOT, revenue recognition, FDA compliance, safety, ADVAMed, international trade regulations, etc.) • Actively participate in the ongoing development of a corporate culture that strives to achieve the highest ethical standards. This is accomplished by conducting all business affairs ethically and lawfully and by ensuring open, honest communication.
Qualifications/Work Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four year degree. Preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain Management. • Experience in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Lean Manufacturing Environment preferred. • Successful candidate must have good communication and computer skills, self-motivated, very organized, enthusiastic, detail oriented, resourceful, poses a sense of urgency, systems orientated approach and strong in math.
PHYSICAL/SAFETY REQUIREMENTS • May involve prolonged sitting. • Coordination of eye, hand, and/or foot movement with an ability to grasp by hand and meet cognitive demands to include visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention ability. • Requires use of safety glasses in designated areas. • Closed-toe/heel shoes must be worn on the production floor; safety shoes are recommended.
