Logistics Management Analyst

A member of our Technical Services Division, located in Suffolk, VA, has an opportunity for a
Logistics Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Work as a member of a Northrop Grumman TS team supporting the JOSE Logistical program. The Logistics Management Analyst is responsible for property accountability of 60,000 items located in 46 different sites. Assists in maintaining the integrated logistics database for all JCW IT items and assists in providing consolidated hardware and software reports on a monthly basis. Conducts site inventories in accordance with established directives and timelines. Ensure proper turn-in and disposal actions occur for all required JOSE-Supported IT equipment.
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds
• One (1) year experience in inventory control of property required
• Position requires a bachelors degree or an additional four (4) years of exp w/o degree
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Must be willing to work nights and weekends when required to support events and exercises
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years specific and related experience in property accountability
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office; including PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel
• Requires experience with basic administrative property control procedures maintained by operating a database system
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Secret level security clearance to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) is a plus.
• Experience serving at, or working directly with geographic combatant commands (GCC) is highly desirable.
