Machine Shop Supervisor
The Knox Company, an Engineering driven company, located in north Phoenix, AZ is looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor who will solve machine-related production problems and plan and direct the work of the Machine Shop personnel.

Requirements:
Essentional Job Functions
- Plan, organize, and coordinate machine shop operations and work to assure that daily production schedules are achieved
- Oversee the training, and evaluation of Machine Shop personnel.
- Work with Engineering to plan and implement various manufacturing technologies.
- Monitor quality and quantity of material produced and coordinate maintenance requirements.
- Resolve production, equipment and systems problems.
- Order and maintain shop tooling and supplies
- Evaluate best machining practices using fully automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot numerical control programming problems and complex machining operations, set-ups or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Supervisor practices and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of a machine shop operation to include machining, grinding and robotic welding
- Knowledge of machining tolerances and quality control standards
- Must understand terminology and specialized CNC welding and machining processes
- Ability to understand and utilize an ERP system
- Ability to use Microsoft office products
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Read and understand blueprints
- Graduation from High School or Equivalent. Bachelors degree preferred.
- 10+ years of machine shop experience working with highly automated equipment
- 5+ years supervisory experience in a related industry
