MACHINIST Perform set-ups & operate all conventional & CNC machine shop equipment, including lathes & milling machines, to very close tolerances (within .001). Strong background of CNC milling and knowledge of controls and programming such as on Fanuc and Okuma. Prefer 5 years experience in Journey-level or comparable position and strong shop math & trigonometry skills.
All positions also require the following: Demonstrated ability to communicate and understand instructions and safety criteria provided in English Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability and responsibility Excellent attendance history Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
In addition, production and other shop-related positions require the ability to: Work any shift needed to support production (1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts) Proficient shop math skills (accurate with decimals & fractions) Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude Ability to learn to read and understand manufacturing planning and precision measurement equipment Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
