Machinist Positions Available 2nd Shift
Position Summary / Key Job Responsibilities: RTI Energy Systems, located in Spring, Texas, has a well respected reputation for specialty engineering, high quality manufacturing, exceptional fabrication, and on-time delivery in a constantly safe and reliable manner. Several positions open, including Manual Lathe Machinist (2 nd Shift) Pull Bore Operator (1 st Shift) Requisition CNC Lathe Machinist (2 nd Shift)
Qualifications / Requirements:
1) Minimum 3 years experience as a Machinists operating Manual Lathes, CNC Lathes, Pull Bore or VTL's.
a. Experience cutting multiple material types including Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, and Titanium
b. Experience machining oil field related product or other product with similar tolerances and requirements (+/- .001"")
c. Experience lining up long parts to hold end to end concentricity
d. Make own setups using 4-jaw chuck, steady rests, and tail stock as applicable
e. Experience cutting premium threads and/or connections
f. Work with programming to select appropriate tooling
g. Read and machine to multiple page drawings/blue prints
h. Edit programs as needed (writing complete programs not required)
i. Experience with Fanuc controls or similar as required by machine
j. Experience working to standard processing times and maintaining high productivity
2) Be flexible to work extended hours and weekends as needed
3) Experience safely handling large parts utilizing overhead cranes
