Overview:
This role will provide business management leadership, analysis, oversight and discipline across our 4 Direct to Consumer Fulfillment Centers at both the tactical and strategic level.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide leadership and support to facility executive teams and ensure Direct-to-Consumer policies and procedures are communicated and executed consistently.
Direct the financial, operational, safety and service performance of 4 Fulfillment Centers.
Partner with Facility Vice President and the systems group to provide leadership with the design and implementation of a new facility. Responsibilities include time and action calendar development, hiring strategy, budget development and overall project management with partnership from FVP.
Provide strategic leadership to develop, coach, and mentor direct reports toward individual growth and performance excellence.
Serve as the liaison with and Bloomingdales direct on building related issues.
Direct customer service compliance standards. (FTC shipping requirements)
Skill Summary:
Bachelor's degree in Distribution, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
In depth knowledge of e-commerce and fulfillment operations, including; experience with high transaction operations and excellent skill in areas of supply chain logistics, and inventory management, with an emphasis on customer service.
Accountability for Multiple distribution facilities (fulfillment preferred).
Minimum one-year experience with Manhattan WM Systems.
Effective decision making ability in a fast paced environment.
Ability to stay ahead of the curve by finding new ways to satisfy customers.
High-level understanding of Six Sigma process improvement methodology.
Proven strategic leadership skills including leading a team with a clear vision and strategy, results-orientation, change catalyst, and developing people.
Facility start-up experience strongly preferred.
