Job Description
Baxter Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the Cleveland, MS manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for:
•Electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment to include electrical switch gear, use of blueprints and schematics for control circuit repairs and repairs to motor control centers.
•Install electrical facilities for new equipment and relocate equipment when necessary.
•Perform sheet metal fabrication and welding assignments as required.
•Analyze problems and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
•Able to troubleshoot and repair Northside Manufacturing Equipment.
•Must be able to work plant shutdowns and some holidays to overhaul major equipment or install new equipment.
•Work in a clean room environment.
•Perform all documentation as required.
•Experience to use PC to troubleshoot and program microprocessors and related electrical devices.
•Knowledge of both plant and department environmental health and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly.
•Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
Job Requirements
•Use electrical test equipment; e.g., volt-ohm meter, ammeter, megohmmeter, wiggly
•Troubleshoot and install DC equipment/controllers, generators, solenoids, relays, motors, power supplies
•Perform industrial maintenance
•Basic electrical skills
•Ability to perform Pipe fitting and welding
•Must have at least 3 years industrial maintenance experience
•Able to lift 50 pounds.
•Must be able to climb on ladders and catwalks to work on equipment.
