Standard Homeopathic Company a well established pharmaceutical manufacturing company has exciting opportunities for three Maintenance Mechanics. Our company is over 100 years old and robustly growing.
Work Hours: 1 opening for 1st Shift (5:00am-1:30pm)
1 opening for 2nd Shift (1:00pm – 9:30pm)
1 opening for 3rd Shift (9:00pm – 5:30am)
JOB FUNCTION:
Monitor and perform preventative maintenance on process equipment, calibration of instruments, and operation of various validated process systems.
Will also support validation actives including performing FATs, IQs, OQs, PQs and other validation tasks.
Responsible for completing paperwork required for entering calibration and maintenance data into the department’s maintenance and calibration Blue Mountain database program.
Successful performance of these duties will ensure a safe, qualified, and compliant environment for the Facilities and Engineering group.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma and related college, trade school, or equivalent.
6-8 years increasingly responsible operation of tableting machines, mechanical, maintenance, validation and calibration experience preferably in a pharmaceutical company with tableting or other related industry.
Computer skills to include experience with database entry, basic proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite applications.
High energy, self-motivated individual who is flexible in assignment, able to multi-task between multiple active projects.
Ability to work under pressure and perform tasks on schedule with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills both oral and written.
Aptitude to troubleshoot and repair tableting, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and instrumentation equipment.
Discipline to consistently follow SOPs, GMPs, and safety precautions.
Competency to properly gown for and function within a GMP environment.
