Job Functions - Location: Mt. Holly Truck Manufacturing Plant (Mt. Holly, NC)
Reports to: Supervisor Maintenance
Shift: Candidates must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd)
Rate of pay: Position is part of a progression step system starting a $15.18/hr and reaching a rate of $18.68/hr on the 42nd month of employment. Rate increases take place every six months up to the 42nd month of employment.
Maintain the Robotic Process at plant.
Maintain, operate and improve automated lines in an effort to maximize efficiency. Write, modify and manipulate Robot, PLC, Simulation and Johnson Control Programs.
Assist in production cell process design and improvements.
Constantly evaluate system parameters in an effort to optimize the automated process.
Perform compliance tests on robotic equipment to maintain ISO and safety standards.
Become proficient (maintain/control/diagnose) in the operation of all robotic equipment.
Recommend process changes and coordinate the implementation of these changes into production.
Provide technical expertise in integrating equipment, systems, materials and processes.
Insure robotic processes comply with ISO, vendor, safety and governmental standards.
Provide backup support for other robot technicians as required.
Complete tasks as assigned.Basic Qualifications - High school diploma (AA degree in Automation/Robotics/Electronics is preferred) is required.
Notarized documentation substantiating 8 years of practical experience in the Industrial Maintenance field.
Exceptional working knowledge of Industrial Maintenance (electrical and mechanical technologies is required.
Practical knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Systems and Root Cause Failure Analysis is required.
Journeyman Card and documentation showing a Bona Fide Apprenticeship equaling 4 years experience in skilled trades is preferred.
Applicants will be required to take and pass a skilled trades test during probationary period.Additional Information - Final candidate must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and criminal background check.
