Basic Function: Responsible for the maintenance, preventive maintenance and general upkeep of various hydraulic and pneumatic machines, forktrucks and other equipment. Responsible for the general maintenance of the building.
Scope/Supervision: Duties will be performed in a warehouse environment, under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor or Plant Manager.
Responsibilities: · Perform various warehouse maintenance duties including, but not limited to: · Preventive maintenance and associated record keeping for ISO compliance · Repair of various types of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment: saw, crimper, tag machine, proof-tester, solvent-flusher, various types of fork lifts, etc. · Research to find replacement parts for older machines · Use and trouble shoot various computer based programs · Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures · Find creative LEAN solutions to process and/or equipment issues · Insure the grounds, the parking lot and sidewalks are clean and safe even in winter · Work in fast pased environment and juggle multiple urgent projects · Must be a team player and get along with all types of people · Must be self motivated and work efficiently with little guidance · Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements · Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy · Perform other related responsibilities
Requirements: · Mechanical aptitude and 2 years experience repairing machines in a manufacturing environment · High school graduate with mechanical certification(s) · Ability to fabricate or modify existing machines and fixtures · Hydraulic & Pneumatic background with ability to fix new and older equipment · Electrical skills · Welding skills · General preventive maintenance skills · General Air conditioning skills · General plumbing skills · General Computer skills, operation & troubleshooting · Read and interrupt written instructions · Lifting requirement – must be able to take apart heavy machines in order to replace parts Offer Relocation :No
