What You'll Do
John Deere Harvester, located in East Moline, IL, is seeking aMaintenanceSupervisorto supervise and conduct manpower planning for as many as 45-50 skilled trades employees. In addition you will: * Align maintenance strategy to support lean manufacturing initiatives. * Develop maintenance projects that will enable achievement of department and factory goals. * Manage a material budget of approximately $300,000. * Manage preventative maintenance plans and schedules for assets in excess of $35 million.
We need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's or Associates Degree focused on Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent experience (apprenticeship/journeyman card preferred). In addition we require: * Knowledge and experience in SAP or other operating systems. * Past experience in skilled trades. * Ability to work multiple shifts and work overtime as required, including some weekend work. A strong candidate will also possess: * Maintenance experience in union environment or military. * Production support in production of heavy equipment. * Manufacturing Supervisory experience.
