Maintenance Technician I

Title: Maintenance Technician I
Location: MS-Corinth
ATS has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician I.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ability to work SAFELY by following policies and procedures in an industrial environment
* Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting
* Ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance in a team atmosphere
* Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic, and piping diagrams
* Ability to research parts, drawings, diagrams and schematics
* PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
* Able to work alone and in a team environment.
* Effective communications skills are required
* Personal Computer (PC) skills
The following skills and abilities are a plus:
* CNC/NC machine tool experience
* Machine rebuild, HVAC, welding, cutting, and fitting experience
* Machine leveling, alignment, and installation
* Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
* Experience using calipers, indicators, micrometers, multimeters, O-scope
* Ability to use shop equipment: such as sanders, drill press, mills, lathe, surface grinder, press break, shear, crane, forklift
* Air compressors and balancing compressed air systems
* Experience with Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement processes

* High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree from a two year college or technical school preferred
* 1-3 years of experience in a related field preferred
* Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
