Our client is s a leading medical pharmaceutical company with and immediate need for a contract to hire Maintenance Technician to jion there team. You will perform work to support the safe and smooth operation of the Cleanroom, office and production area. Maintains key relationships with service providers, production and RD personnel.
Essential Duties & Responsibilitie
Performs a wide variety of general light duty building maintenance repairs and services, including changing light bulbs, hanging pictures, moving items, maintaining furniture/cubicles, etc.; responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests.
Oversees janitorial, security, pest control services.
Oversees Cleanroom service providers, including purchasing of non-production supplies and processing blanket POs.
Assures safety standards are in place and used which comply with all Company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines; responsible for HAZMAT disposal.
Administers the Preventative Maintenance system, including maintenance of equipment files and completion of monthly/quarterly/annual preventative maintenance.
Completes grounds work which may include picking up trash, sweeping warehouse, and maintaining building appearance.
Monitors and maintains all building systems; first responder for building alarms.
Responsible for alerting the Company of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that has taken place or that may occur.
Responsible for ensuring Forklift Certification and Training is completed and maintained for applicable employees.
Maintains inventory of tools and spare parts; schedules repairs and replacements.
Active participant on the Safety Committee.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years related experience in a medical device manufacturing environment.
Fork Lift Operator Certification.
Skills/Abilities/Attributes
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
Detail oriented with extreme accuracy.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Ability to meet established deadlines.
